Raring to Row
the next to row the Atlantic

Team Raring to Row are taking on the huge challenge of rowing unassisted 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean on December 2022, raising much needed funds for the children’s charity Action Medical Research. Being at the mercy of the Ocean alone, they will have to be prepared for every eventuality, mentally and physically.

Follow their journey as they plan and train for the World's Toughest Race.

And they are taking Geoffrey with them

Geoffrey of @giraffesontour1 fame met up with his new cabin mate @paddingtonbear one of the ambassadors of our awesome Charity @actionmedres.

They took in the Sunrise and reckoned this is going to be one of their favourite spots over the coming months. 😁🤘

Experienced Ocean Rowers always tell us that getting to the start line is a journey in itself. The challenge is all consuming that is for sure, but fun, and we all grow because of it.

The support of all of our sponsors and supporters is amazing. This picture captures how much the support of @magma_aviation means to us. The material support is awesome but most importantly to us is that they are a great cultural fit with values and vision that echo our own.

Looking at the smile of Conor their CEO says it all.

Momentum is building. 🤗

We are absolutely delighted to welcome on board our Platinum sponsor @magma_aviation
Their support of both the crew and our charity is overwhelming, we can’t wait to cross the Atlantic Ocean, and show them what we are made of! Take a look at their page, and see what a fantastic company they are.  @magma_aviation Magma Aviation is delighted to announce that they are Platinum Sponsor for team Team Raring to Row in the  @atlanticcampaigns Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge 2022

The 3,000-mile rowing race takes place across the Atlantic Ocean, from the Canary Islands to Antigua. Dubbed “the world’s toughest row”, the journey will see the team’s four rowers, Helen Stone-Ward, Gemma Best, Kevin Watkins and Adam Siggs, alternating between rowing and resting every two hours for approximately 45 days. The team will battle sleep deprivation, salt sores and 40ft waves during their quest to raise money for leading UK children’s medical research charity, Action Medical Research].

Conor Brannigan, CEO of Magma Aviation, said: “We are delighted to sponsor the amazing Team Raring to Row team and give them whatever support we can. While they will face this challenge on the Atlantic Ocean, many young children face daunting and physical challenges in their day-to-day lives due to rare disease. We could not be more appreciative of the fantastic work Action Medical Research do, and we really hope this endeavour by Team Raring to Row will help raise much needed awareness and funds to help further their reach and research.”

Our inaugural trip out, and we loved it 🤗 @giraffesontour was there to give some tips from his trip out with the @atlanticflyers as well.

We loved it and look at the smiles and to make it perfect we got back in time to celebrate Mother's Day 😁
